Please tell us a little about your company:

Next Chapter: France offers advice, tips, and shared experiences for people moving to France. As an expat and someone who has made four major city moves, I know what it's like to navigate (and feel lost in) new surroundings and I wanted to offer what I know as well as help people with more detailed information to make them feel at home before they arrive.

For those moving to Paris, I research the lifestyle details most relocation companies don't address, such as where to shop based on your preferences, get the best cup of coffee in your neighborhood, find gyms and sports to join, English-speaking organizations to be a part of...all things that can make a difference in this major life change.

How did you get the idea for your business?

This came out of  my own experience, feeling like a fish out of water when I arrived in Paris. I had done research prior to moving here from NYC and visited several times, but it wasn't until I was in the middle of my new life that I wished I knew more.

And speaking with other expats, they felt the same way and encouraged me to create a service that can help people transition more smoothly, helping to create the "comforts of home" instead of simply offering typical relocation services that deal only with the technicals of moving here.

What do you love about your job?

I love being able to help people while sharing my passion for France.

This is such a beautiful and welcoming country and I hope to inspire people to want to make France their home. And I want to help them once they're here so they can enjoy it from the start without the pressures and confusion that come with moving to a new country.

Where do you see your business in 5 years?

I see Next Chapter: France as a lifestyle brand centered around my mission of "Making France feel like home." Where I'm starting now is just a small piece of the pie and my way to start building a following.

Eventually, I would like to offer French-made products for your home, with an ultimate goal of restoring French properties and building dream homes for families and people passionate about France.

And I will keep this larger goal in mind with every move I make going forward. I know I have much to learn to bring it all to fruition, but I believe in my idea and will take the steps I need to to get there.
