Sarah Waters, Vice President of Strategy, Insights & Ideation at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

Sarah leads the CMN Hospitals Strategy team which conducts large-scale industry and customer research to generate critical knowledge and insights which have a long-range view and strategic application to inform and grow the business. The team also leads strategic project management and change management for the organization. Sarah leads the CMN Hospitals strategic planning and execution processes with executive and senior leadership, as well as leads the organizations change management efforts.

Sarah joined CMN Hospitals in 2007 as an Account Director managing key corporate partner relationships. Sarah then served as the VP of Corporate Partnerships, leading the team of national strategic corporate partner relationship managers.  In 2015, Sarah transitioned to an enterprise operations role as the VP of Business Intelligence and in 2020 transitioned to her current role leading the Strategy team.

Prior to CMN Hospitals, Sarah worked for the Los Angeles Clippers and New Orleans Hornets NBA teams as well as the Pebble Beach Company leading their corporate sponsor relationships and programs. Additionally, Sarah worked the 1998 Goodwill Games in New York City, NY and the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. 

Sarah was recognized by Utah Business Magazine as a “Forty Under 40: Utah’s Rising Star” and was previously recognized as one of the magazine’s “30 Woman to Watch”.  Sarah has served on the Board of Directors for both the Girl Scouts of Utah and Junior League of Salt Lake City (JLSLC) and serving as the JLSLC 2020-21 president. She currently is a board member, active member and rowing coach with the Great Salt Lake Rowing club.  Sarah studied Business Administration and received her MBA at Brigham Young University and is a certified Prosci Change Management practitioner.
