Lee Gonzalez is the founder of L&L Hospitality, a hospitality management and advisory company.  After a brief stint on Wall Street as an Analyst for Goldman Sachs in their Private Wealth Management group in New York City, Lee decided to pursue her true passion.  In 2006, Lee moved with her sister/business partner to Barcelona, Spain where they opened two hostel properties. In 2014, the pair moved back to NYC to open The Local, a 150-bed hostel in Long Island City, Queens.  Most recently, they developed, designed, opened and operated, and sold Lolo Pass, a 280-bed hotel/hostel hybrid in Portland, Oregon. 

Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania in 2003 and an MBA from INSEAD in 2012.  Lee is an avid traveler but calls Greenpoint, Brooklyn home.  She is on the Steering Committee of the Female Founders in Hospitality network and leads two cohorts of founders.  She spends an inordinate amount of time thinking about food and has been on the Young Professional Committee of the James Beard Foundation since 2016.
