Alexis T’ai Aguayo is an accomplished revenue executive and media leader with more than two decades of experience building high-performing sales organizations, launching innovative advertising products, and driving multimillion-dollar growth across digital media, branded content, programmatic, and OTT partnerships. Currently serving as Chief Revenue Officer at Food52, Alexis has led the company through significant revenue expansion, growing total revenue over 30% in her first year in a challenging advertising market.

Throughout her career, she has consistently exceeded revenue goals, developed category-defining advertising products, and forged long-term partnerships with major brands and agencies.
At theSkimm, Alexis played a pivotal role in doubling revenue from $20M to $40M while launching high-impact franchises including Skimm Your Life and The Weekend Skimm, which together generated millions in annual revenue. At FOX News Digital, she led the East Coast sales organization responsible for 85% of national revenue and was the company’s top salesperson for four consecutive years.
A passionate people leader and DEI advocate, Alexis is recognized for building cultures rooted in accountability, empathy, mentorship, and collaboration. She has launched mentorship initiatives, championed programs supporting BIPOC-owned businesses, and served as a guest professor at Seton Hall University. Beyond her professional work, she is actively involved with community organizations including Toni’s Kitchen, the NJ Food Bank, and Rent Party’s Backpack Kids initiative.
Alexis holds a B.A. in International Relations and Hispanic Studies from Brown University and studied abroad at Universidad de Sevilla.
