Cassy Saba, Cassy Saba Jewelry

I received a bead kit from my aunt for my 12th birthday and I fell in love with creating jewelry. Over the years, I learned to make more intricate pieces, and eventually started working with real gems and precious materials.

As my designs improved, I started marketing my products and building more customers.   My business took off, when I was 16. I started receiving national recognition, stores were selling my jewelry, and I was having trunk shows nationwide. During school, I would go to the library to email magazine editors on my lunch break. My goal was to get into 50 magazines by the time I was a senior in high school, and I reached that goal.

I'm now almost 30, and while I still do fun costume jewelry collections, the main part of my business now is fine jewelry. I specialize in custom diamond and gemstone jewelry and engagement rings/wedding bands.

What I love most about my job is being able to be creative and making women super happy.  I'm able to be a part of many special occasions and milestones in people's lives. I also love being a girl boss and having my own schedule.

I love to encourage other women entrepreneurs through finding their passions, and figuring out ways they can take their hobbies and turn them into businesses. Don't be afraid to ask for help from family and friends. You would be surprised how many people are willing to assist you if you just ask. Keep on hustling and knocking on doors, sometimes you just need that one door to open.
