The United Women in Business Foundation (UWIB) Give & Get Virtual Coffee Series is an intimate, connection-driven gathering designed to move networking beyond small talk and into meaningful exchange. Built on the simple but powerful principle that community thrives when we both give and receive, this series creates space for women to show up with intention — ready to offer support, insight, and encouragement, while also being open about where they could use it themselves.
Each session brings together a small group of members for guided conversation centered on one powerful practice: asking. As women, we’re often natural givers — quick to offer support, introductions, and encouragement — yet far less comfortable articulating what we need in return.
The Give & Get Virtual Coffee Series intentionally creates space for members to step outside that comfort zone and name their “get” — whether it’s advice, accountability, perspective, or a specific connection. Through facilitated prompts and intentional dialogue, participants are encouraged not just to support others, but to advocate for themselves in a safe and empowering environment.
Participants will leave with at least one meaningful new connection, actionable insights to move forward on a current goal, and a renewed sense of community. Whether you’re navigating a career transition, building confidence, growing a business, or simply looking to deepen your professional network, the Give & Get Virtual Coffee Series is designed to remind us that we grow faster — and stronger — together.
Participants must be a UWIB member to join. Membership is 100% free. "Deposit tickets" cost $10 and will be returned in the form of a Starbucks gift card to those who join!
